What to include in your request
Appliance transport requirements
Include the appliance type, quantity, model when available and any special handling instructions. Manufacturer guidance can affect preparation, transport position and what happens after delivery.
Access at both ends
Measure the appliance and the route through doors, corridors, stairs and elevators. Share photos of narrow areas, and mention whether doors or other obstacles may need attention before the move.
Preparation before collection
Appliances should be empty and prepared for transport. Arrange disconnection of water, gas or electrical connections through a qualified person where required. Do not assume installation or reconnection is included.

Do you disconnect or install appliances?
Transport and technical work are separate requirements. Arrange qualified help for disconnection or installation unless that work is explicitly confirmed in your agreed scope.
What information is most useful for a quote?
Photos, the model or dimensions, pickup and delivery locations, stair details and any manufacturer handling instructions are a useful starting point.
